Mary Jo Smith received an MA in Theology from the University of Dallas Institute of Religious and Pastoral Studies. She is also on the faculty of the St. John Bosco Conference for Catechists and Religious Educators held at Franciscan University of Steubenville. As a faculty member she coordinates the catechists' certification track. Mary Jo is also a marketing representative for Ignatius Press. She has co-authored the pre-school, kindergarten, and first grade curricula of the Image of God textbook series and was general editor of the series. She hosts a national cable TV series for children that appears on EWTN. Mary Jo also directs a pre-school/kindergarten religious education program for St. Raphael Parish in Crystal, Minnesota and works with the teachers of St. Raphael grade school coordinating faith formation.
