Prayers After Holy Communion

Behold, O kind and gentle Jesus,
I kneel before you and pray
that you would impress upon my heart
the virtues of faith, hope and charity,
with true repentance for my sins
and a firm purpose of amendment.
At the same time, with sorrow I meditate
on your five precious wounds,
having in mind the words which Davind spoke in prophecy:
"They have pierced my hands and feet. I can count all my bones."

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father

for the Holy Fathers intentions

SOUL OF CHRIST

Soul of Christ,
sanctify me;
Body of Christ, save me;
Blood of Christ, fill my veins;
Water from the side of Christ, wash me;
Passion of Christ, strengthen me;
O good Jesus, hear me:
Within your wounds hide me;
Separated from you, let me never be:
From the evil one protect me:
At the hour of death, call me;
And close to you bid me:
That with your saints, I may be,
praising you forever, and ever. Amen

SPIRITUAL COMMUNION

My Jesus, I believe that you are in the
Blessed Sacrament. I love you above all
things, and I long for you in my soul. Since
I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. I
embrace you and unite myself entirely to you;
never permit me to be separated from
you.
Amen

ACT OF LOVE
O my God, I love Thee above all things,
with my whole heart and soul,
because Thou art all-good and worthy of all love.
I love my neighbour as myself for the love of Thee.
I forgive all who have injured me,
and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.

FATIMA PRAYER
My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You!
I ask pardon of You for those who not believe,
do not adore, do not hope and do not love You!
